Smarter SVC Dump Processing for Improved z/OS Resiliency

Providing sufficient resources to fully capture SVC dumps while lessening the performance impacts to the system requires both system analysis and installation planning. In this session, the speaker will discuss the planning steps needed, including configuring enough real and auxiliary storage to accommodate both the space and performance requirements of taking a dump.
