OMEGAMON™ has evolved significantly over the years.  Throughout this life cycle of improvements, customers have typically chosen to implement the legacy technology along with the latest greatest enhanced versions.  While this eases the migration path for users while providing the most comprehensive toolset available, certain challenges are created.  One such challenge is alert synchronization across the various user interfaces available to OMEGAMON users.
This session will explore setting thresholds to create alerts, and the relationships of these thresholds to a user session across the OMEGAVIEW and OMEGAMON's Classic, CUA, Enhanced 3270, and Tivoli Enterprise user interfaces.  Profile management and required user authorizations will be discussed.-Wayne Bucek-IBM Corporation
