This presentation goes into detail of how some popular open source and "non-traditional" monitoring packages can be integrated with MQ running on any platform.  We will show how these tools can access statistics, status, events and error information from your queue managers. We will also have a live demo of some of these facilities, including monitoring and alerting for a z/OS queue manager. Enhancements to some of these monitoring components has been driven by user feedback at sessions like this; this will be a chance to contribute to further development.-Mark Taylor-IBM Corporation
