As a merged company, JN Data is automating as many of the daily routines as possible, and we have built a utility-automatition tool whch handles backup, reorg, Runstats and DSN1COMP. The System is built on top of Real Time Statistics which is part of the DB2-installation The system generates jobs and cooperates with TWS to avoid schedule-conflicts. The implementation of this tool has resulted in significant reduction in CPU, IO and storage, which actuallly postponed a CPU-upgrade worth 2 million Euro.
