Building End To End Business Application Views With Tivoli Enterprise Portal

This session will discuss the capabilities of IBM Tivoli OMEGAMON XE and the Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) to perform the monitoring, performance management, and availability management of sophisticated, multi-component, multi-platform applications.  This session will use an actual customer application case study as an example of how various OMEGAMON XE monitoring technologies may be leveraged using the Tivoli Enterprise Portal.  Best practices for planning, design, and implementation will be reviewed.  Examples of platforms considered in this session include the following: z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, WebSphere MQ, Windows, UNIX,  and zLinux .  This session will discuss real time monitoring, historical analysis, and performance automation.  This session will also discuss the integration of IBM Tivoli OMEGAMON XE with other Tivoli systems management technologies.
