The z/VM Upgrade Installation process introduced with z/VM 6.3 continues to be enhanced with each new z/VM release. This presentation will provide an overview of how this process enables you to upgrade an existing z/VM system to the current release with minimal impact to the current running system. Enhancements provided with z/VM 7.2 will also be highlighted. Following these topics an IBM customer will discuss their experience upgrading z/VM systems to 7.2.
