This session will go into detail about the new JES2 and JCL symbol services and other services added in z/OS 2.1. Topics include accessing exported JCL symbols in running jobs, passing symbols with jobs on the internal reader, symbols with special meaning, the job correlator and how to use it, performance improvements when using SAPI applications, and the new unauthorized job modify SSI function.
