Project and Program: MVS
, MVS Storage Management
, SHARE Atlanta 2016
In this session, the speakers will analyze the myriad security resources used by various Storage Administration tools from the point of view of functionality and with the assumption that the OPERATIONS attribute has NOT been assigned to your userid. This will be done by looking at the most common functions performed by a Storage Administrator and reviewing what security access is required to perform them. Such functions include using the ISMF panels to change SMS constructs, defining new alias’s, etc.-Chris Taylor-IBM Corporation; Marty Hasegawa-Rocket Software, Inc.
