Managing the z/VM user directory can be a challenge for even the most experienced system programmers, but when your systems are running in a Single System Image environment, even the simplest updates take extra time, thought. and coordination. Using a directory manager like DirMaint can make handling this task much easier. This session provides an overview of how the z/VM Directory Maintenance Facility works in an SSI cluster and then covers specifics on how to deploy DirMaint to support SSI directory administration.
