The Next Generation z/OS User Experience is driven by the mission of simplifying the operating system and making it more accessible, intuitive, and familiar for the next wave of Z professionals. By delivering consistent, intuitive, and accessible interactions across APIs, CLI, IDEs, and UI with AI assistance throughout, the Next Generation of z/OS aims to accelerate the understanding of and proficiency using the Z platform. The goal is to empower new-to-Z users to contribute meaningful, production‑relevant work in months rather than years. Join us to learn more about the Next‑Generation z/OS Experience and the ongoing Technical Preview program, and discover how you can participate in the program and help shape the future of the platform.
