TECH_295: CBT Tape A Treasure Trove of Mainframe Utilities

The CBT Tape is an open source library of utilities, created over the decades to be the "must have" toolbox that every mainframe system programmer, developer, administrator relied on. Our panelists will cover how to find the catalog of what's available in CBT Tape, how to install and download and start exploring, as well as demos and walk throughs of some of the gems and unsung "Oh my gosh, that's amazing, I was zero years old today when I saw that" moments. We'll also talk about licensing, and how folks out there who have ideas for modifications, or new contributions, can get involved and help to drive forward this amazing library of utilities for the benefit for the mainframe ecosystem.
