Come learn how a large Wall Street Bank combines Metro Mirror, HyperSwap, Global Mirror, CSM on z/OS, SYSPLEX associations, Scheduled Tasks, and associated FlashCopy and Safeguarded Copy sessions to create an extremely flexible, powerful, and fully featured IBM DS8950F solution. We will provide an overview of the mainframe environment and the data replication architecture and then delve into how we implemented the unique automation and security features we’re employing and how we leveraged the most recent product enhancements to construct the solution.
