RMF is IBM's base product for collecting performance data from z/OS systems and it provides reporting capabilities for sysplex-wide monitoring, performance analysis and capacity planning.
In this session the latest functions provided with z/OS 2.1 RMF will be reviewed. With the new release, RMF comes along with quite a number of substantial highlights: • Support of Storage Class Memory paging statistics
• Exploitation of System z Integrated Information Processors
• Cross Platform Monitoring support for Windows systems
• SMF Recording Facility for AIX, Linux and Windows performance data
• Additional Postprocessor reports in XML output format
