RMF is IBM's strategic product for z/OS performance management. It is the base product to collect performance data of z/OS systems and it provides reporting capabilities for sysplex-wide monitoring, performance analysis and capacity planning. In this session, the speaker will review the latest functions provided with z/OS V1R12 RMF and z/OS V1R13 RMF. This session is not just a basic product update. Beyond the functional enhancements, RMF comes along with two complete new faces:

• The Postprocessor XML face:  Use Postprocessor XML Reports for your performance trend analysis and capacity planning
• The z/OSMF face: Use the z/OSMF Resource Monitoring application to examine the performance of your z/OS sysplexes and Linux images from one single point of control
