z/Architecture has introduced a wide variety of new instructions that can help you simplify your programs. We will show examples of some of these, and dispel the rumor that using z/Architecture instructions means that your programs must execute in AMODE(64).

This is the second of two sessions devoted to exploring the capabilites of z/Architecture for your application programs.
