KVM is now available as a hypervisor for z Systems. The concepts in KVM come from the distributed world and look foreign to z people at first. But if you look closer there are many similarities. After all,  z/VM has had virtualization way longer than KVM. So in this session we will explain the basic concepts of KVM comparing them to z/VM.
