The AI revolution continues to reshape the way the world operates and IBM Z and LinuxONE are a big part of it! We have introduced many amazing AI capabilities in the IBM z16 (LinuxONE 4) and more recently, the IBM z17 (LinuxONE5). In addition, we have broad support for a rich ecosystem of AI frameworks to run natively on Z and LinuxONE. But what about the future of AI and in particular, on these two amazing platforms? Come learn from IBM fellow and owner of the AI on IBM Z and LinuxONE strategy, Elpida Tzortzatos, about where we have been, but more importantly, where are we headed. Learn about the new Spyre adapter, how it powers the assistants today, and will allow you to “bring your own model” soon. What types of models will be able to be deployed to Spyre and does IBM envision them being invoked? What will the hardware requirements for deploying a model on Spyre be? How does IBM's watsonx vision (.ai, .data and .governance) fit into the IBM Z strategy? What about OpenShift.AI and the RedHat Inference Server and IBM Z? These questions and more will be answered in this forward-thinking session. Some time at the end of the session will be devoted for a question-and-answer time where you can ask our IBM Fellow anything about AI on the platform.
