IBM z17 HMC (Hardware Management Console) has exciting feature enhancements which are not only available for the new z17 system, but many also can be utilized to manage your IBM z16 & z15 systems. This session will cover enhancements for the HMA (Hardware Management Appliance) for import/export from/to file system, upgrading of HMC levels with visibility to your images, and order process enhancements. Security enhancements include Dual Control, Single Sign On (SSO), Network Time Security, TLS Cipher Suite Configuration, BCPii HWIREST/v2 Enhanced Security with asynchronous notification and HMC target support, complete HMC User configuration replication to SEs, and more.
