Building and maintaining z/OS specific interfaces is hard and complex. There are lots of challenges to face and mistakes that are easy to make. This session is aimed to discuss the key points where interfaces can offer the most dangerous exposures to a system, and how to reinforce them. We will discuss the patterns and themes that emerge when looking at historic security and integrity exposures in z/OS-centric interfaces like PC’s and SVC’s, practices to avoid these sorts of patterns.
