HLASM Listings and the PSW
Project and Program: Application Architecture Development and Integration
, LE and Programming Languages
, SHARE in San Antonio 2016
This session covers two key application tools; the HLASM Listing and the PSW. If you are an application developer or provide support for applications programs; this session is for you. The format for this session will be a mini-session for each application tool.
Ever wondered what ADDR1 and ADDR2 meant? This mini-session will take attendees on a journey through the sections of a HLASM listing. From source code to object code.
It’s not very large; just 16 bytes (or 128 bits in old coin). But what do they mean? This mini?session will walk you through those bits and bytes. Attendees will discover the benefits of how to leverage using a PSW for the development or support of application programs.-John Ehrman-IBM Corporation
