This is an introductory session about how to tune DB2 buffer pools, and how to interpret the performance data associated with DB2 buffer pools. We'll consider such issues as how to divide your processor memory into different buffer pools and assigning DB2 objects to different pools, and the various buffer pool parameters that DB2 provides.
