Conquering Stress and Burnout
Project and Program: Professional Development
, SHARE-wide Events
, SHARE in Atlanta 2012
Stress and burnout are more the ‘rule’ rather than the ‘exception’ in our hard paced field of endeavor. Long hours, constant interruption, missed events with family and friends and of course, our perfect task master…the systems that make no mistake on their own but reflect ours, all driving up our stress levels and contributing to eventual burnout. Add in the other stressors of normal life and we are at risk.
What are the stress factors, how do they affect us and what strategies can we implement to reduce the effects on us, our families and our careers. These are just some of the answers that you will find in this session to allow you to take control, be happier and be more productive.
