In February of 2014, IBM issued a statement of direction indicating the intent to remove the SMTPD Mail Gateway and Sendmail mail transports from z/OS Communications Server in the future. In this session, the speaker will discuss the reasons for this removal, and will look at how migrating to the CSSMTP mail gateway from SMTPD can significantly improve the performance of sending mail and also simplify configuration and setup.-Todd Valler-IBM Corporation
