The Zowe API Mediation Layer (API ML), part of the Open Mainframe Project, is evolving to make installation and configuration easier than ever. Recent updates to the software and documentation reflect direct customer feedback, reducing complexity and helping teams shorten the time required to get API ML up and running—particularly important for solutions that require it as a prerequisite. This session will share what’s new, why it matters, and how these improvements support a smoother installation experience. We’ll also highlight a new administrator training program that provides hands-on opportunities to install API ML, explore day-to-day operations, and practice troubleshooting. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of both the latest advancements and the new resources available to build skills and confidence in managing API ML.
