Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) is designed to accelerate cloud-native development by modernizing and containerizing applications. End-to-end workloads deployed on RHOCP deliver excellent performance through co-location with business-critical data on IBM Z & IBM LinuxONE. In this talk we are going to compare end-to-end workload performance deployed on RHOCP on IBM Z & LinuxONE with deployments on common x86 environments. We will leverage the security, scalability and resilience of IBM Z & LinuxONE for Red Hat OpenShift workloads and demonstrate these features with the help of use-cases. Finally, we will close with best practices for network and storage configurations for OCP-based workloads on IBM Z / LinuxONE.
