Over the past half-dozen years, I have received more questions, and have
encountered more misunderstanding, about application compatibility levels
(APPLCOMPAT, for short) than any other item related to Db2 for z/OS (APPLCOMPAT
was introduced with Db2 11 for z/OS, but it took on more meaning and importance
starting with Db2 12). In this session, you will learn all about APPLCOMPAT -
what it is (and isn't), what it does, and how it can be effectively managed in a
Db2 for z/OS system.
