What do we mean when we talk about “Application Modernization� Do we mean
switching from Monoliths to Microservices? Replacing technology X with
technology Y? As it turns out chasing the next Hype Technology is a futile
attempt. It keeps our organization busy and the technology stack is ever growing
– but there are almost no positive effects on our ability to deliver business
value faster. In this session we want to have a look at some architectural
patterns that promise a lasting positive effect on our software architecture. We
would like to invite you to a journey through promising approaches to software
modernization from an architectural perspective.
