IBM z17 introduces the Data Processing Unit (DPU) for I/O operations, delivering
a comprehensive refactoring of the platform's I/O subsystem. This presentation
will focus on the changes introduced by the IBM z17 DPU, the transition from
legacy storage and network I/O channels to new DPU enabled offerings, as well as
their capacity and performance implications.
