JES3 Project

The JES3 Project is concerned with the Job Entry Subsystem 3 (JES3). Its purpose is to provide a forum for the interchange of ideas between IBM and the JES3 user community. The project also represents the needs of the JES3 user community to IBM. This includes communicating user requirements and a direct exchange of technical information between JES3 users and IBM.

The JES3 Project is composed of members from installations running or planning to run JES3 as their primary subsystem. Representatives from IBM in the areas of marketing, development and support are also expected to participate.

The project is open, and new members and working volunteers are always welcome and encouraged.

The project also includes the semi-independent Enterprise Presentation Solutions Committee(EPS)

EPS Purpose

This Committee operates semi-independently from the JES3 project and is responsible for document printing and presentation items relating to Enterprise Presentation Solutions on all platforms. This covers education on data format, presentation and management of formatted information on a variety of devices.
