SHARE is proud to announce our winners for the 2012 Academic Award for Excellence

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2011 SHARE Academic Award for Excellence program by entering a submission. The Selection Committee greatly enjoyed reviewing your submissions and after much thought and discussion, we are pleased to announce the Grand Prize Winner, 1st Runner Up and the 2nd Runner Up.

Grand Prize Winner

Murat Deniz Uskaner - Submitted the project, 'To Save Your Time: SMPE Tool'. Murat attended SHARE in Anaheim where he received his award and presented his project in his very own session.

1st Runner Up

Osmanys Rosales - Submitted the project, 'USB Storage Devices Security'. Osmanys is a graduate student at Syracuse University in New York.

2nd Runner Up

Jeremy Allen Bernitt - Submitted the project, 'An Enterprise Social Scheduling Platform'.Jeremy is a student at Syracuse University in New York.


2011 Winners

Grand Prize Winner

John Noel and Regina Robbins - Submitted the project, 'Wiki: A Systems Programming Productivity Tool'. Both are recent graduates of North Carolina Central University in North Carolina. As Grand Prize Winner, both John and Regina attended SHARE in Anaheim where they received their awards and presented their project.

1st Runner Up

Miroslav Tamas - Submitted a project on WSE, Web Search Engine. Miroslav is an undergraduate at the Charles Unvieristy in Prague and will be graduating in 2011.

2nd Runner up

Stefan Kastle - Submitted the project 'Performance Analysis of File Processing in Mainframe Environments'. Stefan is a recent graduate of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Jungingen, Germany.


2010 Winners

Grand Prize Winner

Ahmet Alper Tecimer - Submitted a project on the MVS Tool. He is a graduate student at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey and a new employee at Garanti Technology.

1st Runner Up

Skyler Dodge - Submitted a project on the Evolution of the z/OS Dispatcher. Skyler is from New Hampton, New York and recently graduated from Marist College.

2nd Runner Up

Niranjan Sharma - Submitted a project on the z/VM Performance Testing.Niranjan is from Normal, Illionios and a graduate student at Illinois State University. He will graduate in 2011.
