Each release of CICS brings a host of new functions that enhance the core of the
CICS runtime. This session will show the new capabilities in CICS TS 6.2 and
what benefits they will bring to your CICS environment. These include
enhancements in system management, such as resilience to surging requests for
TRANXLASS-managed transactions, new DFHRL messages for GRPLIST installation of
bundles, reducing CICS statistics volume; in performance, such as threadsafe
read and browse requests to SDT; in resilience, such as z/OS MEMLIMIT storage
monitoring, expanded usage of Instruction Execution Protection (IEP) in CICS
plus many other capabilities.
