Monitoring your Distributed Workload for Db2 for z/OS

Distributed workload is becoming more prevalent, and for many customers it is a significant part of the overall Db2 for z/OS workload. In this presentation we will recap the Db2 IFCID records available that allow you to monitor your distributed workload including new ones added since last year. For details refer to our presentation at IDUG EMEA 2023. We will also dive into typical use cases, such as identifying badly behaving applications, e.g., not using TLS, using old drivers, and more. We will also cover how to correlate the different trace records. For example, you might have identified a misbehaving application but want to know the user and IP address or vice versa. Finally, we will show some examples of how to visualize the data into dashboards.
