Mainframe Vulnerabilities Are Hiding: Can You Spot Them?
With the rise of cyber attacks and evolving regulations, mainframes are becoming
increasingly vulnerable to security breaches. One of the biggest challenges in
securing the mainframe is identifying and addressing the categories of
vulnerabilities that can be exploited by threat actors. These vulnerabilities
can range from simple human errors, such as using weak passwords or not updating
software, to more complex technical flaws like misconfigured settings or
unpatched system components. In this session, we will discuss the categories of
mainframe vulnerabilities, the role they play in the increasing threat
landscape, and some ways we can address them head-on.
