DB2 for z/OS RUNSTATS and Real Time Statistics

Statistics on your DB2 objects are collected in a variety of ways for a variety of reasons.  This session will cover almost everything you've wanted to know about DB2 statistics but never had the opportunity to ask. It will cover both RUNSTATS and Real Times Statistics, the different options for gathering statistics, touch on how these stats are used by the optimizer,  utilities, and DBAs to efficiently manage systems, and give tips on best practices.-Craig Friske-IBM
