81451: z/OS HCD and the CHPID Mapping Tool: What Is It and How Do I Use It?

HCD has long been the tool of choice when working with the system configuration but isn’t a skill that is needed in a customers day to day operation. To help freshen up those HCD skills we will be taking a look at the basics of HCD covering terminology, current CHPID types, and configuration tip and tricks. Then we will dive into the task required to migrate a configuration from an older system to a newer including the use of the CHPID Mapping Tool.
