69472: Introduction to IBM z/OS FTP

Transferring a file from one system to another is a task that most of us have done many times, whether it be from a UNIX command line, an FTP client with a nice GUI on Windows, or even just from a web browser. But, how familiar are you with FTP on z/OS? This session provides an introduction to z/OS FTP, and includes a review of the basics of the protocol, a look at some of the unique features of the z/OS FTP client and z/OS FTP server, security considerations, and other topics of interest.
