33 Improving ICF Catalog Resiliency by Identifying and Preventing Catalog Problems

If something happens and you can’t “see” your data sets, or you get an unusual error message, how do you know that there might be a problem with your catalogs? You already back up your ICF catalogs regularly so that if anything goes wrong you can recover. But if there is a problem, how do you decide that repair is impossible, and it is time to perform a recovery?
