25382: Understanding and Configuring syslogd
The syslog daemon (syslogd) allows you to capture messages from multiple sources
and store them in a central location. The syslog daemon can be configured to
collect messages generated locally and forward them to a system where the
messages can be consolidated and optionally archived. In this session, you will
learn about the different configuration capabilities with the z/OS syslog
daemon, and will take an early look at upcoming enhancements to syslogd.
