SHARE Academic Award for Excellence We are proud to announce the SHARE Academic Award for Excellence. Now in its fourth year, this award is a direct result of the importance in recognizing the next generation of enterprise technology professionals. This award showcases and rewards academic work that SHARE acknowledges as relevant to the future of enterprise computing.

Award Criteria and Requirements The award is applicable to students and recent graduates enrolled full-time in high school, undergraduate or graduate university program focused on Information Systems, Enterprise Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related concentration. TOPIC: Students should submit an academic-related enterprise information system project that could add value to an organization’s overall IT goals and mission. Example projects might include improving a process, increasing performance, improving productivity, or developing a new tool or application. Submissions must include:
Award Levels and Prizes SHARE will offer three prize levels - Grand Prize, 1st Runner Up, and 2nd Runner Up. The Grand Prize winner will be recognized at the 2013 SHARE summer conference in Boston, MA. If the Grand Prize winner is not available to attend, the 1st Runner Up has the opportunity to attend. Judging Process Entries will be awarded based on submission fulfillment, award criteria and requirements. Upon successful receipt of the 'Call for Entries' form and supporting documents, applicants will receive a confirmation email. Entries will be reviewed by the SHARE Academic Award Committee. This expert panel was chosen with extreme care to ensure a wide representation of experience; and includes representatives from the SHARE Board of Directors, IBM, and Compuware.
