Here's your chance to influence future IT needs! SHARE would like to invite you to participate in the online advocacy program – Requirements. We have assembled a team of volunteers to develop an enhancement request process. As a member of SHARE, you have the opportunity to participate in this process of submitting, discussing, and voting on requirements.

What is a Requirement?
A Requirement is a statement, suggested by SHARE members, describing a business need related to an IBM product or service that is not currently met. It can relate to a product, service, policy or strategy of IBM, and must include a business justification. SHARE members rank importance and submit as an organization of many customers rather than just one. IBM then responds to the Requirement and reports back through SHARE.
Why Should You Participate?
By participating, you can contribute your knowledge and expertise to help vendors improve existing products or services, and directions for future offerings and/or releases. Because Requirements have the potential to create quite an impact, they are among the most important work products of SHARE.
Who Should Participate?
All SHARE members are encouraged to participate. Participants must abide by the Canons of Conduct to avoid a conflict of interest.
How Do I Participate?
- Enter Requirements Area and login with your SHARE login and password. You will need a SHARE Web site ID and password to access the Requirements area of the website. If you do not have a site login one may be requested if your organization is already a member of SHARE.
- Complete Area of Interest Profile
If you are a first-time user, you will need to complete an Area of Interest Profile. Your profile is the list of areas for which you will be able to submit, review, and vote on Requirements.
- Requirements Review Area
This area allows you to create new Requirements, discuss existing Requirements, and vote on Requirements. Discussions on any particular Requirement are expected to last for 30 days. Voting will also take place for 30 days unless otherwise.
