Throughout its history, SHARE has established several awards to honor volunteers and members, to reward the innovative efforts of member companies, and to promote the future of enterprise computing by supporting undergraduate/recent graduates studying towards a career in Information Technology. We are pleased to recognize those who so thoughtfully support the advancement of SHARE Inc. and enterprise IT.
Now in its third year, this award is a direct result of the importance in recognizing the next generation of enterprise technology professionals. The goals of this award:

To showcase and reward academic work that SHARE acknowledges as relevant to the future of enterprise computing
Since 2001, the Award for Excellence has been given annually to a SHARE member company that has demonstrated exceptional use of technology that leverages IBM products or services along with knowledge and professional connections developed through SHARE.
CA Technologies, in partnership with SHARE, will be awarding over $1 Million in Mainframe Academy scholarships through 2016. Scholarships will be awarded by members of the SHARE board to those individuals who demonstrate a desire to master mainframe programming skills.
