SHARE has chosen J. Charles Crystalworks to produce the Award for Excellence in Technology. The 2004 piece, Harmonics, was designed by Susan Jacobs Lockhart. J. Charles commissioned Ms. Lockhart to design "In The Spirit of Frank Lloyd Wright". Her use of abstract and natural forms are resonant of the organic style which Mr. Wright employed in this architecture and decorative designs. As a child, Ms. Lockhart was raised in two Wright-designed homes commissioned by her parents.

The Harmonics piece clearly demonstrates Lockhart's artistic talents through her creation of such fantastic energy with a limited palette. The Award is signed by the artist and a portion of the cost of the piece is contributed to the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture.
